Fall is Official...Except for the Weather in Texas

We officially crossed over into autumn on September 22nd, but Texas didn't get the message.
Example: This is my crape myrtle in my backyard. We won't see any semblance of fall foliage until much later in the season. Last year the oaks didn't lose their leaves until February.

Fall is bringing great plans, however, and I'm most excited about my new book release happening on November 10th! Behold, book one in the Warrior Wolves of Texas series, Warrior of Eden!

About Warrior of Eden
A dozen years ago, I joined the army to escape an arranged mating.
Now that I'm stateside, I'm a wounded wolf shifter warrior facing an uncertain future...and the angry alpha I left behind.
The Katrina Stone who left Texas all those years ago knew who she was and what she wanted--control over her own life. A foreign battle left me forever altered, both physically and mentally. Now I have to rebuild myself. I'm still an alpha in my own right and want to forge my own path, even in love, which is why the "fated mates" concept's lack of control doesn't work for me. Unfortunately, the wolf I abandoned still believes in that tale.
Hunter Jackson, alpha of the Central Texas pack, trusts that the mating our fathers planned for us proves we're predestined. The wolf is tall, dark, and devastatingly handome, and he makes me hunger for him like no other. He claims my injuries don't matter to him and demands I honor the engagement our dads negotiated decades ago.
Drawn together by pack politics, we'll be in forced proximity to solve crimes against all of the regional wolf territories. While I'm in his domain, he's convinced I'll see our future his way. I'm giving him two weeks to figure out if he can move past the "pack princess" memory my father sold him, or if he can truly love a rare female alpha who's still finding her feet.
Because no matter what he says, I know this--in the wolf shifter world, an alpha's strength means everything...and I'm damaged goods.
