With the realization that October would start today, I retooled my plans / goals for the remainder of this year.
2021 has simultaneously crawled and raced for me. Crawled because of uncertainty. Raced because of deadlines.
I've chosen to focus on the critical task, and take time to appreciate the good I've experienced this year.
So, Hello October!
(The small heart indicates my birthday. Yes, I'm an almost-Halloween person. My parties as a kid were primarily Halloween-themed dress-up affairs.)
October brings Halloween, Octoberfest, and four family birthdays, which includes mine...maybe I'll resurrect the costume tradition this year for my birthday. I'll keep you posted.
