My family and I are getting away from it all in a few weeks. We haven't had a real vacation since 2017, and even then, the trip had been planned in accordance with a conference I attended.
This is our first trip not tied to another event since before 2010.
To say I'm excited is an understatement. I'm trying to do my work, but thoughts of sand and sea and tropical beverages keeps intruding.
Yes, the trip is beach-y.
Caribbean.
Mmm...a Caribbean island with nothing but good food, stellar company, fun, and relaxation.
Yet, I need to focus. I have many things to do before we leave, like, oh yeah, release a new book! July 5, 2022, the next #EnchantedRockImmortals novella releases--Aliases, Artifacts, and Attraction: A Love Story.
