My actual favorite thing about living in Texas is we get an early spring. I love spring. I love seeing the flowers rise and bloom. I love the greening of the grass and the buds on the trees. I love the warmer weather and the nice, comfortable breezes.
Though spring doesn't officially begin until next month, we often get a teaser of spring in February.

Unfortunately, February also switches weather gears on us without warning. We had temperatures near 80 degrees this weekend.
Tomorrow we're expecting a wintry mix.
This daffodil has a rude awakening coming.
