After the year that was 2020, I think we all looked toward 2021 with renewed hope.
In some cases the hope was justified. In other circumstances, perhaps our hopeful outlooks were not.
I choose to see the positive outcomes in 2021...and the lessons learned from the not-so-positive circumstances.

To be able to visit with my author friends IN PERSON in 2021 was truly the best gift.
I also am blessed to belong to an amazing critique group, The Southlake Writers, which has continued to meet on Tuesdays through the magic of Zoom. These people keep me sane and make my writing the best it can be.
I'm looking forward to 2022, dare I say, with HOPE for an even better year.
Let the 2022 goal setting commence.
