For those readers who love the #EnchantedRockImmortals series, you may not have realized Enchanted Rock is a real place--a state park in Texas.
We chose to set our series in Enchanted Rock because the place has a reputation as being an energy vortex. What better location for a paranormal romance series than an energy vortex?
I had an opportunity recently to visit Enchanted Rock and hike the lower trails. Perfect weather for the hike--mild temps, some wind, and sunshine--made for a great adventure.
The pink granite dome that is Enchanted Rock.
This is the main rock formation. The park is much larger than this particular peak.

Me--before hitting the Loop Trail.
I looked a little more windblown at the end (and probably a bit sweatier too).

Another fun fact you may never have noticed is Enchanted Rock is in the background of all of the bookcovers in the Enchanted Rock Immortals series.
See if you can find the dome in my next release's cover:

See it behind Lauren Williams's, um, behind? Now you're in the know.
As for Lauren's book, Jingled, Jangled, and Jinxed: A Love Story, it releases on December 3, 2024.
Humans have an elf on the shelf for the holidays.
I have an elf who's my ex in my guest bedroom.
We've been forced together on a quest to find a fae and a fae relic. Now we're in danger from his clan's assassins...and I'm in danger on once again losing my heart.
Who put coal in her stocking?
Sorcerer Lauren Williams gives the appearance of having her life together--but appearances can be deceiving. The Cape of Compulsion, a fae relic she turned over to its owner at her place of work, keeps showing up in her closet, ruining her reputation, and putting her job...and the financial means of saving her family...in jeopardy. The paranormal community's security team forces her on a quest, paired with a fae who's familiar with the disappeared relic and the missing fae woman who owns the cape--her sexy ex, Dillon "Jinx" Archer.
Jinx may be her "fated mate," but he's no angel--he should've told Lauren he was engaged to the very woman who's now missing. The sooner the cape and his fiancee are reunited with him and all three are returned to the fae realm, the faster she can get her organized life back on track, save her family, and escape the only man she's ever loved.
With fae assassins tracking their every move, the forced proximity is resurrecting her attraction to the man who destroyed her trust and her heart. Lauren's caught between holly and jolly--save her family by reuniting Jinx with his fae fiancee and the accursed cape, or open the sweetest gift of all--the love of her life.
If you love fated mates, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, second chance romances, and a holiday twist, you'll love Jingled, Jangled, and Jinxed: A Love Story.
