Happy New Year--Let's Ring In 2026!

In reviewing 2025, I realized that 2025 was a building year.

I reassessed and began to rebuild my author life and works.

I reviewed my paperwork and my "stuff" and began the decluttering process to streamline my personal and work lives.

I finally had the surgery to rebuild my left knee--the recovery of which is still a work-in-progress but on the road to better functionality.

I planned and began to build a new series...or two.

All of this building prepared me for what is to come in 2026, which triggered my focus word for 2026:

I will explore new possibilities in my personal and work lives in 2026:

We're planning on selling our home of 23 years and moving to a new house in a town a little north of here--but we'll still be Texans! This is a scary, daunting adventure but should yield us a new home that will suit us better in a town we love.

I'm launching a new series this year, which is also scary and daunting, but is a series close to my heart (and has wolf shifters--because who doesn't love wolf shifters).

I'm attending more book signings this year and stretching my introvert tendencies to meet my readers in person. I dipped my toe in these waters in 2025 and realized it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.

I'm continuing my journey to personal, financial, and work-life health.

I'm filling my creative well by attending conferences and writing chapter meetings and courses to help me on my journey.

In short, 2026 will be a year of exploration. I'm glad to have you with me on this adventure.
