I've been busy editing.
A lot.
I have one novel and two novellas needing my attention this month, and the words started to blur on the page from the amount of screen time I've logged.
So a trip to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden happened yesterday.
Since it's October, they had the traditional Autumn pumpkin displays, which I love.
Texas being Texas, flowers still showed their color.
And, Texas being Texas, the only trees with a color change so far this season are the Japanese Maples.
The four hours I spent touring the gardens did more than clear my editing-filled head. They refocused my sights on beauty and color and life.
And today, the editing is clearer too.
