"Spring Forward" occurred this weekend.
This foolishness needs to stop. My dogs don't understand we lost an hour--their body clocks know when breakfast time hits.
So, 5:30 (previously 4:30 a.m.) did not arrive with sunshine and joy.
At least I spent the day with family. After long hours of sprucing up the yard, we cooked hot dogs and made s'mores over an open fire, then watched a movie together.
Turned out to be a great time, even though I dragged myself to bed earlier than normal. My body clock knew how lost sleep felt.
Here's a pic of a tulip I saw in town, proof that spring is coming. I'm ready for the change in season.
I'm ready to catch up on sleep too.
