I'm fixing dinner.
Again.
Tonight's delicacy is meatloaf. My hands currently smell like onion and raw meat. Not pleasant. The lemon-scented kitchen hand soap is clearly not up to snuff. But the end result will be tasty and my family will enjoy the meal. Sometimes the end result is worth the preliminary unpleasant tasks.
Today's workload centers around edits. The revisions to my manuscript are ongoing and relentless. But, I hope these tasks prove to be like the meatloaf prep, and the work will lead to a better book.
Fingers crossed...for the meatloaf and the book.
